--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Kellison Stallion was a limited edition luxury sports car, designed and built from 1976 to 1980. 117 of the beautiful cars were built and sold to car collectors all over the world. The cars were powered by 429 Cobra Jet Ford engines. At 165 mph, they were America's fastest sports cars. These cars now sell for $75,000 to $100,000 in the collector car market, when you can find one.

The Stallion Prototype was constructed in the early months of 1976 and was extensively tested at the old Vacaville, CA road racing course. Over 50 hours of substained speeds at 125 to 170 mph lead to a well handling, yet comfortable road racing machine.

The first car to be built after the Prototype was Jim Kellison's personal car, serial #01. Jim also used it as a demonstrator. The 460 cubic inch Cobra Jet Engine, was bored out 480 cubic inches, balanced and put out 550 horse power. It's a very mean machine, but very comfortable to drive and now has over 150 thousand miles on it.

Linda Carter's husband at that time was Ron Samuels, a Hollywood Agent. He decided it would be good publicity for Wonder Woman to drive an exotic sports car, so he ordered the Number 2 Car. All in all, 22 Stallions were sold to various people in the Hollywood Jet Set.

This car is a Prototype Car that was used as a test bed for the chassis, transmission, engine, and suspension components. It is shown here in gray primer. After the testing was finished it was painted red. Photos were taken and used in many press releases, early magazine articles, and national advertising. Photos were also used as posters and sent to 5,651 Ford Dealers here and abroad.
