NHRA S/ST , 1959 Kellison J4, titled as 1968 Corvette, 632 BBC Funny Car and Vintage road racer.
This car has been raced at 5 NHRA nationals events, has had "best packages of the class", has earned payouts as well as having been featured in the National Dragster.
Currently set up for NHRA 1/4 mile dragster. The car is 100% race ready, loaded up and will be raced (unless it sells) at the upcoming Super Chevy Show in Chicago, August 10-12.
The car is setup for easy low 10s at 140 mph runs on pump gas. The engine has about 30 runs on a PER professionally blueprinted and dyno tested 632 with best of parts with over 20K invested in engine alone.
Dyno sheets verify 900HP at 6500 RPM at 850 ft-lb torque.
Dart block, Callies Magnum Plus crankshaft, Jesel valve train and cam drive, crower roller cam, Brodix heads, King Demon carb, MSD ignition and the best of the rest.
Independent rear end center section (4:56 ratio) is custom built by Tom's rear ends and rated at 1500 HP. Fresh Richmond Super T-10, new Lakewood bell housing, Centerforce pressure plate and Ram clutch.
Up to date Simpson 5 point harness, fresh Mickey Thompson drag slicks. Hydraulic clutch and throttle! Centerline wheels, Corvette disk brakes with Tilton road racing master cylinders. 20 gallon road racing fuel cell!
Swap the rear tires and wheels (2 sets), shifter and the tunnel ram intake to a road racing type and go vintage racing.
A new original (not reproduction) 1959 Kellison one piece fiberglass body was fitted onto a 68 corvette frame. The 12 point roll cage and aluminum interior is professionally built by Ansel Racing.
Kellisons are highly desirable and stunning vintage race cars with body lines ahead of their time, built in the 50s and 60s and are still raced today .
